Dr. Sunny Parekh, DO
Dr. Parekh brings a wealth of expertise in orthopedic sports medicine and regenerative therapies. A graduate of Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and a member of the Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society, he has demonstrated a consistent commitment to clinical excellence. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he served as chief resident, and pursued further specialization through a sports medicine fellowship at the University of South Florida in collaboration with the Florida Orthopedic Institute. During his fellowship, he gained hands-on experience as part of the orthopedic team for USF Athletics and St. Leo University.
Dr. Parekh’s clinical interests include tendon, muscle, and ligament injuries, as well as advanced arthroscopic procedures, minimally invasive surgeries, cartilage repair, and fracture care. He is also passionate about regenerative medicine, offering non-surgical options designed to support the body’s natural healing processes.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Parekh enjoys spending time with his wife, Shreya. Their shared interests include playing tennis, traveling, and exploring new destinations.
